Happy holidays!!

hello again! It’s me Bee!

Happy holidays from my family to yours!! Oh man, christmas Eve came and left and let me tell y’all I’m exhausted! As a Hispanic, we celebrate Christmas on the 24th and stay up way past midnight! Then right at midnight the kids get to open up presents and the adults give each other the Christmas hug! This tradition has been going on for years! We also eat tamales, birria de chivo (our traditional delicacy) and pozole!! all these foods are made and perfected by la tias passed down recipes from the boss lady Abuelita Hermelinda. This year we only had birria and tamales, but let me tell you guys they were so yummy!! Last night was a great night overall, we danced, ate yummy food and we also got to play white elephant! That game is super fun to play! Now today, we celebrate Christmas with my husbands side of the family and make brunch! Let me tell y’all I’m a breakfast person so your girl is excited! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so my heart has definitely been won over by my husbands family! We did go over yesterday for Chinese food and gift exchange. Today we get our stocking stuffers, kids get to open the rest of their gifts and we eat and drink mimosas(adults only lol). Remember stocking stuffers post, well my husband and I have only been together for ~3 years, so we’ve only been doing this amazing tradition for 3 years!! It’s Super fun! The kids all get excited and really enjoy it!! Merry Christmas y’all!! Hope you guys spend it with loved ones! Enjoy the day and relax a little! I have to go take pictures of Sophia opening up her Santa presents! she almost got coal this year!
